Genie Elevated Work Platforms Genie began in 1966 with the introduction of the Genie® Hoist, a portable, pneumatic material lift. Genie quickly gained worldwide recognition with additional material lifts and a series of elevated work platforms, each one representing a breakthrough in product design. Today, as part of Terex Corporation, Genie receives inspiration for product design from constant interaction with its customers.

Our innovative designs and reliable products have made Genie a world leader in the production of material lifts, portable aerial work platforms, scissors lifts, self propelled telescopic and articulating booms. The Terex® range includes excavators, light towers and generators. These products are mainly sold to the rental construction, mining and material handling industries.

Genie has been operating in Australia for over 10 years and has grown considerably during that time. During 2008, the Genie head office moved into a new facility in Brisbane which provides more space for Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), service work and a considerably larger space for spare parts storage. The new facility also has a state of the art training centre ideal for training on all Genie® and Terex® equipment.

Genie has regional branches located in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Our extensive Genie and Terex dealer network provides sales and aftermarket support throughout Australasia and the South Pacific regions.
